Girls with feathers in their hair

I've been in love with feather hair extensions all summer, and especially these ones by Samii Ryan...

When I walked into Primark the other day I saw this little gem...

Granted the feathers may not be as nice as the Samii Ryan ones, but for £2 you really can't complain! I love the beige colour mixed with my dark hair, although the clip is a little annoying to hide, wish it had a small crocodile clip, so much easy to hide!

Home Sweet University Home

I've now moved into my new house in Lincoln!

I moved in last Saturday on the 10th, and it took me until Monday to get my room all sorted (and till today to blog about it!). My landlord left me a creamy yellow colour to paint my walls which took me and my boyfriend the majority of Sunday. Although we had a slight mishap as you can probably see in the photo, with the yellowy cream paint going over the old dull blue it turned lime green! Not the end of the world or anything and I really kind of like it, it goes well with my new duvet cover.

This was my room on Saturday when I arrived, pretty grim really...

and this is what it's like now (sorry for all the poor photos, these were just quick shots I took to show my Mum!)

I said the photographs weren't that great and my room was still so messy at this point, but I do think it looks 10 times better, and so much more warm and homely than before.
Now I'm all settled in here I can't wait for my last ever Fresher's to start Sunday night!

New Shoes!

These are my beautiful new shoes, I've wanted another pair of nude heels after I wrecked my £13 nude primark heels on my birthday. These were a little bargain at £19.99, they are a little higher than I expected but I can live with that. Get them here at Garage Shoes.

Today I finished this art piece for my room, I made it from an old scrap of my wallpaper, and old frame and some mount board. I'm really happy about the outcome, although up close it's a bit frayed, but I still like it! & I recently made these door hangers for my house mates from wooden hearts my granddad made for my mum, which I think are pretty cute and fit in will fit in great with our house.

I love making things and being crafty, you can't beat the 'I made that' feeling.
